Pilotage |
Pilotage is mandatory for 1000 GRT and over vessels.
You may reach to pilotage station 24 hours a day
through VHF 16. The vessels to be guided should
anchor 1 miles open in port entry. The exact notice
should be delivered through its Tekirdağ
representative via telex 24 hour prior to arrival of
vessel to port area. |

Anchorage |
Wharfs are built over hard soil with 8 m to 12m
intervals. The port operations will cease for 10
days in a year because of various wind flows.
Operations at other wharfs are made possible while
the operation in port ceased with different
arrangements. |

Tidal Line |
Draft increase/decrease range caused by tidal is
0,30 meters. |

Prevailing Winds |
NW are the most dominant winds all year ( minimum
9% during January, maximum 34% in November.)
|
|
Northern winds are dominant during December to
April. (most effective between January to March)
|
|
N-E Winds prevails between Junes to August.. |
|
In September short but effective winds are observed
from N-E and S-W directions. |
|
October is one of the quite months.
|
|
Approximately 1/3rd of the winds are
observed from M-W in November. |

Vessels may enter port whether during days or
nights. |

Vessel must have health declaration and in this case
“pratique" is automatic. In case of suspected
disease on board, the master should consult its
agent in harbor via VHF ch. 16 |

It is possible to access Tekirdağ port via ch. 1,
12, 68 and 74 . |

Stevedores |
Tekirdağ Port is providing all necessary services.
Orders should be notified one day prior up to 15.00
o’clock through agents. The orders for weekends and
holidays should be placed on last working day. |
